Ghana’s Champions Medeama SC earned a slim 1-0 win over Nigeria’s Remo Stars in the CAF Champions League preliminary round fixture at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.
The ‘Mauves and Yellow’ lads could have scored more goals in the leg 1 encounter but the lads were poor in-front of goal as they managed a goal through Jonathan Sowah in the 21st minute.
The Nigerians will travel to face Coach Daniel Ogunmodede’ side on Sunday, August 28 in a reverse fixture slated for the Remo Stars Stadium.
The winner of the tie will come up against Guinean giants Horoya AC in the second preliminary round.
