Ghana’s Satellites slumped to a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Burkina Faso in their second game of the second edition of the WAFU-B Boys Cup on Monday.
The 2-0 win proved sufficient for the Burkinabè to secure qualification into the semis of the competition.
Ghana meanwhile, drew 1-1 with Niger in their first game. Coach Samuel Boadu’s lads need a convincing win over hosts Junior Baby Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire to book a place into the semis.
The Young Stallions of Burkina Faso will play Niger in the other game.
