Defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko came from behind to beat League leaders Aduana Stars in Match-Week 27 of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League action played at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi.
The ‘Ogya’ Boys took the lead in the 28th minute through Isaac Mintah. However, the Porcupine Warriors snatched the equalizer through Steven Mukwala in the 38th minute.
Ivorian import Eric Zeze, fired home from the edge of the box for the winner in the 48th to snatch three maximum points for Kotoko who returned to winning ways at their won backyard.
Despite the setback, Aduana FC remains on top of the table with 47 points – four points ahead of second placed Bechem United FC while Asante Kotoko moves to 4th with 42 points.
