Black Stars Head Coach Chris Hughton has shared his thoughts on Ghana’s readiness for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Matchday 4 qualifier against Angola on Monday.
The Gaffer expects his lads to be clinical in front of goal in leg 2 of the third round of qualification to the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations 2023 against Angola, Monday.
”I think both teams want to start well, it’s a big part of the game, there will be a big crowed there tomorrow so they will want to get the crowd going. But we had a good start in the last game, played well, had opportunities and didn’t take them and what happens is if you don’t take them, the opposition grow in confidence so we just need to make sure that we are in the game all of the time and take the opportunities when we can” He told GFA.org ahead of the game.
The Black Stars needed a late goal to beat Angola 1-0 in Kumasi in the past round, and they sit top of the group with seven points, three ahead of the Palancas Negras.
The Senior National team can earn a ticket to the tournament this week if they manage a win in Luanda.
Kick off is at 17:00 GMT.
