The Confederation of African Football has announced February 1 as the date scheduled to conduct the draw for the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Algeria 2023.
According to a communique from CAF, on Wednesday, the ceremony will take place on Wednesday 01 February at the Cercle National de l’Armée in Algiers, Algeria.
The draw follows the qualifiers that took place across the continent. Eleven teams have joined hosts Algeria for the final U17 tournament. The teams are: Morocco, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mali, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Cameroon, Congo and Zambia.
The 8 Countries will be grouped into two ( Group A and Group B).
The Tournament will begin in Algeria from 29 April to 19 May in the cities of Algiers, Constantine and Annaba.
