The Confederation of African Football has appointed Ghanaian Officials Kwasi Brobbey and Daniel Laryea as match-Day Referees for the 2023 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship in Algeria.
Kwasi Brobbey was selected as an assistant referee while Daniel Laryea was chosen as a Video Assistant Referee.
According to CAF, the list includes 19 referees, 21 assistant referees and 12 video assistant referees representing 32 of CAF’s Member Associations.
In line with its policy of promoting women’s refereeing, CAF has named three women match officials: referee Vincentia E. Amedone (Togo) and assistant referees Carine Atezambong Fomo (Cameroon) and Diane Chikotesha (Zambia).
The 2023 TotalEnergies CHAN will take place from 13 January to 4 February 2023 in Algeria.
