Real Tamale United inflicted a 2-1 defeat on defending Champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Match-week 8 of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
The Northern giants enjoyed similar victory over the Porcupine Warriors last season in Tamale.
Georges Mfegue scored the first goal of the match to put the visitors 1-0. However, On-loan Hearts player Issah Kuka levelled the scoreline to 1-1 in the 63rd minute of play.
Exciting playmaker David Abagna Sandan scored the second goal for the home team as they turned things around to win the game 2-1 in-front of the home fans.
The win has lifted Real Tamale United to 8th on the league log whilst Kotoko dropped from the top four zone.
