French Referee Mikaël Lesage has been appointed the Center Referee to officiate Ghana’s International friendly clash against Brazil on Friday, at Stade Oceane – Le Havre in France.
The 47-year old is a top referee who officiates in the French Ligue 1 and European competitions. Mikaël has officiated over 150 games in the French Ligue 1 and the Europa League.
He will be assisted by Alexis Auger – Assistant I and Valentine Evrarde – Assistant II, while Guillaume Paradis works as the fourth referee.
Twenty Eight players have arrived in the Black Stars camp in Deauville – France for the International friendly against 5 times FIFA World Champions Brazil.
The game is a dress rehearsals for the squad ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana will also face Nicaragua in an International friendly on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, four days after the Brazil game to wrap up their European tour in the FIFA International window for September.
Aside these two games, Coach Otto Addo and his men are scheduled to play Switzerland in another International friendly encounter in November 17, 2022 at the Baniyas Club Stadium in Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates.
Ghana face Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in Group H of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The match s scheduled for Friday, September 23, 2022 at Stade Oceane – Le Havre at 8pm.
