Archrivals Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will once again square it off in a ‘Champion of Champions’ match on September 4  ahead of the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier league season.

This one off game is to be played between the Ghana Premier League Champions and the MTN FA Cup winners of the 2021/2022 league season.

The Phobians booked a duel with the Porcupine Warriors following a 2-1 win over Bechem Utd to claim their 12th MTN FA Cup trophy at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Kotoko meanwhile, clinched their 25th Ghana Premier League title – dethroning bitter rivals Hearts of Oak who won the trophy last season.

Last season, the Rainbow Club were winners of the Premier League and the FA Cup titles.
