Otto Addo

The Ghana Football Association has re-appointed the quartet of Coach Otto Addo, Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani until the end of December 2022.

The quartet at the helms of affairs for the Black Stars secured a place at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, after beating West African rivals, Nigeria on away goals in March.

President Nana Akufo-Addo subsequently called on the GFA to keep the current technical team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup following their qualification.

The agreement will see them serve as Technical handlers of the Senior National Team for the upcoming AFCON 23 Qualifiers and the FIFA World Cup 2022.

According to the GFA, their appointment follows an exhaustive negotiation and engagement with all relevant stakeholders including the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Coach Otto Addo and his men will soon name their squad for Matchday 1 and 2 of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nation Cote D’Ivoire 2023 qualifiers and the four-nation tournament in Japan.
