Bristol City star forward, Antoine Semenyo has expressed his desire and readiness to honour Black stars call up when he receives an invitation.
The 22-year old, received an invitation prior to Ghana’s FIFA World cup play offs game against Nigeria in March but got injured days to the clash.
Semenyo, has been in impressive form for his club side Bristol City in the English Championship this season, netting eight times with 12 assists to his name.
According to him, he is ready to represent Ghana at the International level.
“I was always ready to play for Ghana, I have always wanted to play for Ghana but it was the timing.” He said.
“I just needed to get a bit of form and experience before coming to play for Ghana.
“I’ve had offers from England but Ghana is where I belong.” He told Happy FM.
“I have followed the Black Stars all my life. I always follow the AFCON qualifiers. I am hoping to come for the qualifiers in June. I am ready physically, and mentally to play on the African continent,”
“I haven’t established myself to the Ghana fans and coach so I want to play as many games so I can show the people what I can do” He added.
Semenyo will be hoping to justify his inclusion in the Black stars squad as they prepare for the upcoming 2023 AFCON Qualifiers.
