Kumasi Asante Kotoko made history on Saturday at the Red Bull Academy Park following a sweet  1-0 win over WAFA on Saturday.

The Fabulous side coached by former WAFA gaffer, Prosper Narteh Ogum produced a stellar performance in their bid to win the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

It was also their first-ever win at the WAFA Stadium in Sogakope in five years.

Franck Mbella’s 63rd minute goal sealed the three valuable points for the Porcupine Warriors and sent the WAFA lads into the throes of relegation with a 17th position.

The Porcupine Warriors are on course to lift this year’s Ghana Premier League trophy following their nine points lead on top of the GPL Table.
