The Confederation of African Football has announced the postponement of the TotalEnergies CHAN Algeria 2023 qualification draw initially scheduled for Friday, 29 April 2022.

“The TotalEnergies Chan Algeria 2023 qualification draw initially scheduled for Friday, 29 April 2022 has been postponed,” Caf said.

“CAF will communicate new dates in due course. We apologize for any inconvenience caused” the statement added.

The 2022 African Nations Championship, known as the Total African Nations Championship will be the 7th edition of the African Nations Championship, a biennial football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football exclusively featuring players from the respective national championships.

Morocco are the defending Champions.

The first tournament was held in 2009; it was played in Ivory Coast and was won by the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This team, along with Morocco, are the only ones to have won the title twice.
