Ghana’s U17 Female side, Black Maidens are preparing to face West African counterparts, Guinea in the third round of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Conakry, Guinea.
The Black Maidens of Ghana progressed into the third round of the qualifiers with an impressive 4:0 aggregate win over the Young Teranga Lioness of Senegal last month.
Coach Baba Nuhu has named twenty-two Black Maidens squad ahead of the trip to Guinea.
Ghana will take on the Guineans on Saturday April 16 in Conakry with the reverse fixture scheduled at the Cape Coast Stadium on April 30.
The Black Maidens have been to six World Cup competitions since its inception in 2008 having finished third in Azerbaijan in 2012.
The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup will be hosted by India from 11-30 October, 2022. Spain are the defending champions, having won their first title in 2018.
