India 2022 first round qualifiers: Black Maidens square off with Senegal in Accra

Ghana’s Black Maidens will face the Young Teranga Lionesses of Senegal in the 2nd leg of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 first round qualifiers at the Accra Sports stadium on Sunday.

Ghana boosted their chances of progressing to the next round with a 1-0 victory over Senegal in the first leg of the second qualifying round for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, India 2022 in Thies.

The Black Maidens required the late solitary effort of Princess Owusu to gain a first leg triumph against their Senegalese hosts at Stade Lat-Dior.

 

Ghana have been to six World Cup competitions since its inception in 2008 having finished third in Azerbaijan in 2012.

The match against Senegal is scheduled for 3pm kick off on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
