Nigeria striker Asisat Oshoala has won her third consecutive Spanish Primera Iberdrola title with Barcelona following her side’s 5-0 triumph over Real Madrid.
Oshoala, who is recovering from a recent thigh injury was left out of the squad at the Estadi Johan Cruyff but her fine scoring form played a huge role in Jonatan Giraldez’s success.
Her 19 goals in 16 matches were instrumental in the Blaugranes’ clinching of the 2021-22 Spanish Primera Iberdrola crown for a record seventh time, with six games to spare.
The Nigerian recently extended her stay at Barcelona until 2024.
The four-time African Women’s Player of the Year has won 10 trophies and netted 81 times in 101 appearances.
