The national Women’s U-17 team of Morocco are scheduled to arrive in Accra on Tuesday ahead of an international friendly match against Ghana’s Black Maidens.

The Ghana Football Association last month secured the friendlies for the team after holding a fruitful discussion with the Moroccan Football Federation.

The match is scheduled for the Accra Sports stadium on Friday, February 11, 2022- taking full advantage of the FIFA International window for February.

It will be recalled that in November 2020, the Morocco Football Federation extended an invitation to the Black Princesses to play an International friendly match as part of the International Women’s Day Celebration.

The upcoming friendly match will help keep the Black Maidens active ahead of their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Senegal in March, this year.

Ghana’s Female U17 side have been to six World Cup competitions since its inception in 2008 having finished third in Azerbaijan in 2012.

They will play Senegal in Dakar in March for the first leg of qualifiers for the U-17 Women’s World Cup.
