The travelling public will from Saturday, January 29, 2022 have more travelling options between Accra and Dubai, following the announcement that Ethiopian Airlines is to resume servicing the route.
The airline is to resume scheduled passenger service between Accra and Dubai via Addis Ababa with strict new COVID-19 protocols in place.
AviationGhana sources at ET say the new protocols will require passengers to take a PCR test 48 hours before departure from Accra’s Kotoka International Airport. Only passengers who present negative PCR results from designated labs would be allowed boarding.
A second test, according to the source, will be conducted shortly before departure from Addis Ababa to Dubai.
With the lifting of the ban on Ethiopian Airlines operating scheduled passenger flights to Dubai after almost three weeks, Ghanaian passengers now have the option of choosing between Ethiopian Airlines, Emirates, RwandAir and others when travelling to Dubai.
