The squad list sees Berry Ladies lethal forward, Sophaiah Maabena Agyaakwa and Amina Ahamadu of FC Savannah making their first appearance for the Black Princesses.

The Black Princesses team left Ghana on Wednesday via Kenya Airlines at 21:00 GMT.

The Ugandans will seek to maintain their fairytale run in the African qualifiers for FIFA Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022 when they face favourites Ghana on Saturday, 22 January 2022.

Ghana’s U-20 female national team, the Black Princesses last month progressed into the final stage after beating the Young Copper Queens of Zambia 1-0 in Accra.

The FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup is slated for Costa Rica next year.

Ghana are chasing a record sixth straight FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup participation. The Black Princesses made their first World Cup appearance in 2010 and have gone ahead to play in four tournaments on the spin. (2010, 2012,2014, 2016, 2018).
