Kumasi King Faisal continued their impressive run of form on Sunday following a 2-1 win over Gold Stars Ghana Premier League week 11.

The ‘Isha Alla Boys’ maintained an unbeaten run at home thanks to two goals from Ibrahim Osman and Zubairu Ibrahim.

The two scored within 38 minutes to give King Faisal a well-deserved lead before the break.

Osman Ibrahim – on loan from Asante Kotoko put Faisal in front in the 21st minute with a superb finish before Zubairu Ibrahim doubled the lead 14 minutes later. Zubairu connected a neat pass from Ibrahim Osman to increase the tally for the Insha Allahu boys.

Godfred Kyei pulled one back for Bibiani Gold Stars in the second half but that wasn’t enough to give them a point as King Faisal held on to win 2-1 at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.

King Faisal are now joint spot leaders together with rivals Kotoko who made a light work on Aduana in their first ever victory in Domaa on Saturday.
