Defending Ghana Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak will make a return to the Accra Sports stadium as they host Bechem United on Match Day 11 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Hearts have had a difficult start to the 2021/22 GPL season following an exit from the CAF Confederation Cup play offs.

The Rainbow club has won three and drawn one of their last four Premier League matches since their exit from the CAF Inter Club competitions with victories against Elmina Sharks (1-0), Accra Lions (2-0) and Berekum Chelsea (2-0) – and Christmas eve’s 2-2 draw against Dreams FC.

The Phobians recently edged out Berekum Chelsea 2-0 in their outstanding Ghana Premier League Match Day 5 encounter at the Cape Coast stadium thanks to a brace from Kofi Kordzi.

Hearts are currently ninth on the league log with 13 points, with two outstanding games to clear.

Bechem United find themselves four points clear from Hearts with 17 points.

The game is at 3pm on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
