Kumasi Asante Kotoko defeated WAFA 1-0 on Match Day 10 of the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara sports Stadium thanks to a strike from Richmond Lamptey.

The Porcupine Warriors who recorded a 1-0 win against Legon Cities last weekend made it two wins in a row.

Richmond Lamptey, a former Inter Allies star, shot from inside of the box to condemn the Academy boys to a defeat.

Kotoko now sit second on the league table, only second behind Aduana Stars whom they tie on 20 points with a game in hand.
