Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Elmina Sharks by a lone goal on Wednesday to record their first win of the season at the Nduom stadium.
The goal scored by Gladson Awako who joined from Great Olympics ensured the Phobians a slim win over Sharks in the Ghana Premier League.
Awako, who made his first appearance from the bench smashed a long range effort which took a deflection before zooming into the net 72nd- minute.
Hearts of Oak finished the game with ten men after Salifu Ibrahim for a second yellow card seven minutes to full-time.
The win takes the Rainbow club to 6 points after the win moved out of the bottom place with three games in hand.
