Accra Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has asserted that the Phobians need to strategize ahead of second leg clash against North African counterparts AS Saoura.
Hearts defeated JS Saoura 2-0 in the first leg of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
The win puts them in pole position for the group stage but they will need to travel to Algeria for the second leg.
The rainbow club gaffer in a post-match interview after his side’s slim win against JS Saoura, Coach Boadu revealed that lessons drawn from their humiliating 6-1 loss in their last visit to North Africa will aid them seal a spot in Caf Confederation Cup group phase.
“Going into the return game, I have learnt a lot from the WAC game, so strategically we need to strategies very well for the second leg encounter. We would do our maximum best to qualify,” he said.
“I urge all Hearts fans to keep calm and this is the time we need their support. There should motivate the boys when things go wrong and at the appropriate time” Boadu added.
Hearts will travel to Algeria next week with a two-goal advantage and will be hoping to seal a spot in Caf Confederation Cup group phase.
