Following two weeks of high-quality football during the inaugural TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League, the Technical Study Group (TSG) today released the list of the tournament’s outstanding performers including the best XI.
Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies lost 2-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns in the maiden TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League on Friday night.
While Mamelodi Sundowns claimed top honours, the TSG members gave high reviews on a number of teams and players during the competition.
The list is made up of players from the three best teams in the tournament: Mamelodi Sundowns, Hasaacas Ladies and ASFAR Club (Morocco), who respectively finished first, second and third.
Hasaacas Ladies captain Janet Eygir, left-back Perpetual Agyekum, Evelyn Badu (Hasaacas Ladies) who also finished top scorer and best player of the tournament and Doris Doaduwaa made the list.
