Ghana’s Black Queens were in buoyant mood as they held their final training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Head coach, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo has announced 18 players for the 2nd leg of the 2022 African Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifiers against Nigeria which comes off at the Accra Sports stadium on Sunday.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have the upper hand going into the second leg tie in Accra thanks a Uchenna Kanu’s brace against Ghana at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan.

The Black Queens will hope to overturn the two-goal deficit in the return leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 24.

The winner of the high-profile doubleheader after the Accra second leg showdown will set up a second-round date with either Niger or Cote d’Ivoire.
