Ghana Premier League side, Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC have officially confirmed the appointment of WAFA SC gaffer Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as new head coach.

He joins the Porcupine Warriors in a two year deal.

The former WAFA head coach replaces Mariano Barreto who has been relieved of his duties following his torrid relationship with the top hierarchy of the club.

Kotoko announced the appointment via their official Twitter handle in the early hours of Sunday.

Dr. Prosper Narteh helped the Academy Boys to a third place in the just ended 2020/2021 GPL finishing behind champions Accra Hearts of Oak and their rivals Kotoko.
