CAF CL: Hearts game against CI Kamsar of Guinea to be played behind closed doors

Ghana Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak’s CAF Champions League preliminary stage match against CL Kamsar of Guinea will be played behind closed doors.

This directive was communicated to the Ghana Football Association by the CAF in line with the COVID-19 restrictions and CAF protocols.

The Match Commissioner has also confirmed same in the Pre Match meeting held today at the Ghana Football Association.

Only players and officials of both clubs, the medics for the match, few media persons and matchday stadium attendants will be allowed to enter the stadium for the match.

In accordance with the CAF COVID-19 Protocols, all persons in inner perimeter of the Accra Sports Stadium will have to present a negative COVID-19 PCR result.

The Ghanaian league champions stand the chance of making it to the next stage of the qualifiers if they win Sunday’s match.

Penalty shootouts will be use to decide the tie should the match end in a draw.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 3pm.
