Sekondi based Hasaacas Ladies completed a domestic double after defeating Ampem Darkoa Ladies 2-0 in the 2020/21 Women’s FA Cup final on Saturday.

A week ago, the Sekondi-based women’s team emerged winners of the Women’s Premier League following a 4-0 thumping of Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

Hasaacas Ladies scored the opener through Doris Boadiwaa in the 25th minute. She capitalized on a counter attack that left Ampem Darkoaa Ladies completely exposed.

Just at the stroke of halftime, striker Milot Pokuaa doubled Hasaacas Ladies’ score after capitalizing on a defensive error.

The win is Hasaacas Ladies’ first FA Cup title after missing out on the previous two.

Hasaacas Ladies by virtue of being crowned as Champions will represent Ghana in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League which will commence this coming August.
