Kofi Kinaata made history as he bags Songwriter of the Year for the fourth time at the 2021 VGMA’s held on Friday, June 25.
He won the award with his song ‘Behind The Scenes’. Kofi Kinaata beat competition from Diana Hamilton, Adina, Joe Mettle, Abiana and Epixode to win the award.
He is the first artiste to win the award four times in a row.
Kofi Kinaata has been nominated for three other categories in this year’s VGMA awards, including International Collaboration of the Year, Best Highlife Song of the Year and Best Highlife Artiste of the Year.
