Accra Hearts of Oak gaffer, Samuel Boadu has expressed contentment over his outfit’s improved performance in Sunday’s win against Elmina Sharks.
Goals from Isaac Mensah and man of the match, Benjamin Afutu moved the Phobians within two points of league leaders, Asante Kotoko.
After Hearts Sunday’s win, coach Boadu expressed satisfaction with the quality in performance:
“There’s a little bit of improvement because at Bechem we could see lots of mistakes over there, but when we came back to the training ground I think I have done a lot of things that have improved the standards of the team,” Boadu noted.
“We know what we are doing and know it is a gradual process, we play match after match. We have won this match, [so] we are going home to prepare for the away game with Eleven Wonders so we go and win over there.” He added.
The Phobians will be aiming to maintain their impressive run after recording a three straight win when they travel to Techiman to face Eleven Wonders in match week 26 of the Ghana Premier League at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.
