Dreams Fc head coach Vladislav Viric has blamed poor officiating for his club’s defeat to Kotoko in match week 23 of the GPL.

The Porcupine Warriors came from a goal down to win the match 3-1 at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium.

Referee Andrews Awurisa early in the second half awarded a controversial penalty to Kotoko with Abdul Ganiyu stepping up and putting the home side in front from 12 yards.

Meanwhile, Television replays showed the Dreams FC player appeared to have played the ball first before making contact with the Kotoko striker.

In a post-match interview, Viric alleged that the Kumasi based club brought in some people to help them win the game.

“To push the game in their favor, they called some people in Black to help them”

“They weren’t helping today and for me I am so sad because as a coach, I live for football, I think about my players and formation and sometimes I make mistakes.

“But on the pitch, players must be the ones to decide the outcome of the game and I’m so proud of my players.

“They played an amazing game with character and bravery. It is true that we didn’t play well in the last third but it doesn’t matter.

“Let players decide who is going to win.”

The Still Believe club will host King Faisal in match-day 24, at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu on Wednesday.
