Hearts of Oak got back to winning ways after beating King Faisal 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday night.
The Phobians last weekend suffered a 2-0 defeat to Dreams FC when they traveled to Dawu to take on the Still Believe Lads on matchday 22 of the ongoing 2020/2021 league season.
But they made amends in their game against King Faisal.
Two second half strikes from Kwadwo Obeng Junior and Daniel Barnie gave the Phobians a comfortable win at the Accra Sports Stadium.
After a barren first half, striker Kojo Obeng Junior broke the deadlock in the 57th minute with the easiest task of directing a cut back pass into the net from 5 yards.
The forward nearly doubled the lead with a powerful strike but Ibrahim Danlad produced a good save to deny him a 2nd goal.
But two minutes later, substitute, Daniel Afriyie slotted home after collecting a pass from Salifu Ibrahim.
Hearts are currently 4th on the GPL Table, four points behind leaders Asante Kotoko.
