Kumasi Asanti Kotoko have received items worth Gh¢ 200,000 from their official electronic partners Hisense.

According to the club’s statement, the first batch of items have been used to furnish players apartments and the second batch is for equipping Adako Jachie Training Complex.

This forms part of Hisense’s obligations to supply products worth 250,000 to furnish Adako Jachie Training Grounds and offices as stated in the contract signed last year.

The Porcupine Warriors CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah received items which included Air Conditioners, Television Sets, Refrigerators, Chest Freezers, Washing Machines, Microwave Ovens, Blenders and other Hisense products.

Asante Kotoko in October 2020 announced their lofty partnership deal with one of the world’s leading electronic firm, Hisense.

Amponsah expressed massive thanks for the gesture and promised to pay the appliance giants back with good results.

Hisense’s Marketing Coordinator Abena Konadu pointed out that the gesture forms part of her outfit’s decision to support sports, particularly football in the country.

The renowned appliances company has also introduced a scheme that rewards players who score against Kotoko.
