Black Stars head coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor has invited 24 players to report to camp on Monday, March 8, 2021, at the M-plaza Hotel in Accra.
The squad dominated by home-based players are to continue with preparation for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
China duo Mubarak Wakaso and Emmanuel Boateng have been retained to take part in the third phase of preparation for the final hurdles on the road to Cameroon 2021.
An all-home-based contingent of 32 players were initially called up for the first phase last month.
Ahead of the Afcon 2021 qualifying games in Group C, there are concerns about the release of some foreign-based players by their clubs owing to the coronavirus pandemic and associated travel restrictions.
It is not clear yet, how the Black Stars management body will sort this out with the individual clubs.
