The Black Satellites of Ghana are through to the quarter-finals of the ongoing Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania despite a 2-1 defeat to Gambia on their final group match.
Karim Zito’s men threw away a 1-goal advantage to lose 2-1 to The Gambia.
The results meant they still progressed to the next round as one of the best group stage third-placed sides at the competition, while Morocco who beat Tanzania 3-0 finish top of the group with Gambia finishing second ahead of Ghana.
Ghana’s game against Cameroon is scheduled for 17:00GMT on Thursday, 25th February 2021 at the Stade de Nouadhibou, with the winner sealing a semi finals berth.
