Finance Minister-Designate Ken Ofori-Atta has been flown to the United States of America on Sunday for medical review.

A press release cited by Cedidollar.com, stated that Mr. Ken Ofori – Atta has had post Covid 19 complications

According to the statement the complications ”require further interventions not currently available in Ghana after having recovered from Covid-19 last year, December”.

The Minister-designate for Finance who was scheduled to appear before the vetting committee on February 16, 2021, has had his vetting postponed until further notice.

He is expected to be out for two weeks, the statement added.
