The Ghana Boxing Authority(GBA) has placed a six-month injunction on former World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa super lightweight champion, Patrick Allotey for assaulting a Kumasi Asante Kotoko fan on January 26 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The suspension which came into effect on February 6 after a meeting of the GBA executives and the boxer at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra is expected to end in August.
