Goil awards 920 customers as beneficiaries of the Goil ‘Efie Ne Fie’ promo

Goil, Ghana’s leading Oil Marketing Company has awarded 920 customers as part of the 2019 ‘Efie Ne Fie’ Promo.

The Promo which was launched last month is expected to benefit 2500 customers at the end of the promo across the country.

Fulfilling this promise, the Head of Fuel Marketing at Goil, Mr. Marcus Darke has announced that 920 customers out of the 2500 customers have received their ‘Efie Ne Fie’ Promo awards.

He said 60 customers have received One Ghc 1,000.00 worth of fuel on their GoCards, 300 customers receiving Ghc500.00 worth of fuel and 560 customers also receiving Ghc300.00 worth of fuel on their GoCards.

Speaking in an interview Mr. Darke expressed delight in the enthusiasm shown by the customers, adding Goil in appreciating this enthusiasm decided  to also honour the winners of the ‘Efie Ne Fie’ Promo

The Acting Managing Director & Group Chief Executive Officer of Goil, Mr. Kwame Osei-Prempeh said that the Goil promo is not lottery, noting that every customer of Goil is an eligible instant winner.

He revealed that 920 winners were spread across Accra, Temale, Wa, Tumu, Takwa, Kumasi and Nkawkaw.

Touching on the hikes in fuel prices, Dr. Osei-Prempeh explained that with its spread and customers across the country, Goil determines the market price since none of the OMCs would want to charge higher than Goil. He therefore challenged customers to patronize Goil so they will be able to reduce the price of the commodity.

Speaking about the effects of the cedi depreciation, he said Goil is doing its best to control their margins.

Winners present at the Goil Burma Camp Service Station in Accra were presented with their prizes.

Some winners expressed their joy for winning the Promo, advising all drivers and motor riders to buy their fuels from Goil.

A trotro driver, Abudulie Koranchi who won in the ‘Efie ne fie’ promo for the second time advised his fellow trotro drivers to patronize Goil products.

Ernest Bans, a Maintenance Manager for Power Hydraulics won Ghc300.00 fuel coupon. He advised the general public to purchase fuel from Goil because it’s the best.

Goil has also awarded 62 workers for contributing to the growth of the company in the Goil Dealers Distributors Awards and End of Year Party.

Speaking at one of the events, the Chairman of Goil, Kwamena Bartels expressed his gratitude to all workers comprising dealers and distributors for keeping the company ahead of their competitors.

He revealed that Goil has added 40 new stations to its 320 retail outlets throughout the country this year. He added that Goil has launched two gas plants in Tema and Kumasi.

He congratulated workers for their sacrifices over the years and for the growth of the company.

He gave awards of cash, laptops,  trips abroad and many more to 62 workers comprising dealer stations and attendants that served the company for the past 25 to 46 years.

The award winners were from the Greater Accra Region, Ashanti Region, Northern Region, Eastern Region, and Central Region and across the country.
