The Hunters handed defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko their first defeat in the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour park.
The game played on Thursday was an outstanding Matchday two encounter which was initially scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 18 but was postponed due to the Porcupine Warriors involvement in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.
Bechem took the lead through a penalty beautifully converted by Agbesimah in the 23rd minute. The host doubled their lead in the 63rd minute through Emmanuel Avornyo, to secure the win for Bechem United.
The loss leaves the Porcupine Warriors 5th on the league log while Bechem United lie 8th on the table.
Kotoko will host Samatex next on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
